At any given moment, there are millions of individuals and families across the world that need a helping hand in one way or another. From homelessness to medical assistance to disaster relief, it is our duty as human beings to help others regardless of our individual situations.
With that premise in mind, we have launched HelpingHaven, an online philanthropy network that creates original music and combines it with traditional giving to help worthy causes. HelpingHaven profiles individuals in need with the purpose of raising awareness for various causes and to help raise money through our network of micro-philanthropists and music lovers. HelpingHaven provides full disclosure of all monies recieved and spent and provides progress reports showing the direct impact that every dollar has on those that need it. Unlike traditional charities and online donation services where monies are given to organizations with no monitoring or accountability measures for contributors, HelpingHaven allows contributors to purchase original music in support of causes or to donate as little as $5 (micro-donations) directly to individual people or causes and see the direct impact of their contributions. Once someone donates, HelpingHaven provides monitoring tools that show the impact of contributions, exactly how funds are used, as well as online reports showing progress towards goals and improvement for each individual cause. HelpingHaven works with charitable organizations across the globe to profile individual causes with video interviews, pictures, and editorial that effectively portrays the stories of those in need. The HelpingHaven team analyzes each case and creates a plan as to how to most effectively help each cause whether its providing food, shelter, counseling, or simply a shoulder to lean on in tough times.
